Hydrogel for therapeutic angiogenesis

Project Description: The objective of this project is to synthesize an in situ injectable particle-based formulation. In this formulation, angiogenic factors can be released to promote the growth of endothelial cells. Thus, this formation will be useful for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

The Department of Biomedical Engineering administers the undergraduate major in biomedical engineering, and is a part of the university-wide Intercollege Graduate Degree Program, offering both M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Bioengineering.
