Following the completion of this project, the project sponsors can expect:

A working mock circulatory flow loop and valve test chamber.
Graphical printouts verifying that the loop meets the desired specifications.
A detailed protocol describing the process of procuring and mounting the valves into the test chamber.
A detailed protocol describing operation, maintenance, and optimization of the MCFL.

 

The project was evaluated by mounting both types of valves and running the loop.  The waveforms shown below are the quantitative proof that the loop is functioning correctly.  Please also see the short video of the valve functioning in the VTC.
