This is the third Pennsylvania Regional Biophysical Society Networking Meeting. The purpose of
this networking event is to promote interactions between researchers working in biophysics, biochemistry, bioengineering, cell and molecular biology, and related areas in Pennsylvania and nearby states. The meeting will include talks, poster presentations, vendor tables, and time for informal networking.
This meeting is a great opportunity to establish new contacts and let others know about your work. It is also a great opportunity for undergraduate, graduate students and postdocs to practice their poster presentation skills and compete for a chance to give a talk at the local meeting. Three speakers will be selected from submitted abstracts.
Penn State University is located in beautiful Happy Valley, a few hours drive from a number of metropolitan areas, making it possible to do the meeting in one day. More detail are on the Directions page.
Local accommodations are available at a reasonable price in nearby hotels for those who plan to stay overnight. Additional details are one the Directions page.
