Welcome to the Majd Research Group in Department of Bioengineering at the Pennsylvania State University!
We are interested in molecular processes on cell membranes and the role of these molecular events in healthy and diseased cellular functions. Employing biomaterials and micro/nano fabrication techniques, we develop platforms to study these membrane-involved processes.

- December, 2012 - Erin recieves Biophysical Society Education Travel Award to attend the annual BPS meeting in February.
- October, 2012 - Erin presents her poster at Biomedical Engineering Society annual meeting in Atlanta.
- September, 2012 - Erin presents her work at Biophysical Society Pennsylvania Network Meeting, held in Lehigh University.
- August, 2012 - The group welcomes new graduate students Soo Park, You Jung Kang, and Joseph Kuo.
